On 16th October 2008, Professor Olof Nyrén from Karolinska University (Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and one the well known scientist expert in epidemiology of gastric cancer) had been invited to DDRC to discuss our future projects in Ardabil. He had a strict program in Iran to visit Institute of Cancer, Pasteur Institute, and Exceptional Students Talent Center of TUMS.
He also had some conferences in Medical school of TUMS about evaluation of scientific papers and informal discussion with researchers.
Our colleagues in DDRC had a very well interlocution with him and utilized his advices about future DDRC projects on Upper GI cancer.
